Sadly in real life, many trees don't make it to old age, numbers are declining rapidly due to drought, pollution and pests. And around the world, 15 billion trees are lost every year to deforestation.

If everyone stopped eating meat, we'd only need to grow enough crops to feed 8 billion people, rather than the 70 billion farmed animals we currently have to provide for. This huge drop would give our forests and soils the chance of recovery.
