Just look at his alert ears, sad face, and small but sturdy legs, ready to take him on his next adventure… 


Gentle, curious, super strong, and intelligent, donkeys can live up to 50 years old in the right environment. But did you know that hundreds of thousands of donkeys are slaughtered for their skins every year, driven by a demand for Ejiao, a gelatine used in Chinese medicine? Many are being mistreated and made to work until they collapse.
