Made from recycled Sterling Silver or gold, this Capybara Pendant supports sustainable craftsmanship while celebrating the beauty of nature. Capybaras help maintain wetland ecosystems in their native South America, by grazing on aquatic plants, which prevents overgrowth and supports biodiversity.

You might have seen images of capybaras relaxing in hot springs with an orange (or yuzu) on their heads. This tradition originates from the Izu Shaboten Zoo in Japan, where a zookeeper noticed the animals enjoyed soaking in warm water, leading to the creation of the annual tradition of offering capys to access to warm, outdoor baths during the winter, often with yuzu.
